Is Lifesum free?
Partly. Lifesum has a free tier with no time limit, and you can log food with it indefinitely. The catch is that the features most people install it for are paid. The free version gives you calorie logging, basic macro totals, weight tracking and food search, with ads.
"Free to download" and "free to use the way you want" are different things. If you are happy typing every food and living with ads, the free tier works. If you want the parts that make it convenient, you are looking at a subscription.

Those are the prices we verified in September 2026. Subscription prices change, vary by country, and depend on whatever promotion is running, so the only number to trust is the one on the store screen at the moment you subscribe. Two things worth knowing before you tap it: a yearly plan is charged up front, and a "per month" figure on an annual plan is the yearly total divided by twelve.
